Hey guys, this is my entry to @jamtaylor's Steemit Photo Challenge!

This week's theme is "ORIENTAL". 

I have 3 photos for this challenge, and 2 of them will be none other than food!

## 1. Fish Ball & Meat Ball Noodles

This picture was taken at Go Noodle House, Genting Highlands. The noodles are served in a soup that's cooked with wine. It comes with fish balls & meat balls. This is as Chinese as it gets.


## 2. Old Baba-Nyonya Plates

I took a photo of these Baba-Nyonya plates at Daily Fix Cafe Melaka. The Baba-Nyonyas are basically descendants of the Chinese who came to Malaya and sort of assimilated with the locals. This is why most of my Baba-Nyonya friends speak Bahasa Melayu quite often, and they normally don't speak Mandarin, even though they look like a Chinese.


## 3. Kolam

I'm not certain if this is considered as oriental, since Deepavali is celebrated by Hindus.

This is one of their Kolam photos (made of rice) that I took today at Hatten Square Melaka. They are normally very colorful!
