Our farewell in the paradise original of [@issymarie](https://steemit.com/@issymarie) 

Do you remember that time we fell off that precarious boat ?, our first date on this lake that became the refuge of our joys and cries.

Here you proposed to me, those nerves of yours that made you tremble and you laughed, you spent so long hours in which your stuttering voice prevented saying you want to marry me, the afternoon came and the moon watched us until your lips the proposal finally came out, which received that great YES that rumbled loudly towards that mountain that marked the beginning of happiness.

Do you remember that when we were married we came on vacation, we arrived at our paradise, you named it and I agreed, here in this sky that I now observe, it was as celestial as that day, that day I told you the family is enlarged since we would be parents.

Remember love, we came with the children countless times, if I close my eyes I see them running along the shore of the lake, enjoying the water so pure and clear.

How many more times we live after the two alone, when the children grew up and formed their families, how many more times we laughed in this lake to continue sailing in that boat where it all began.

Oh love, 60 years together; where this paradise continues to come alive, where this lush tree is huge and we saw it so small, you remember love the times we sang that song that we liked so much, we held hands and interlaced our fingers so as not to let go.

Today I come in the company of the children to our beautiful paradise, I will fulfill that promise we made, you come with me in my hands, today I no longer feel your body; but nevertheless your ashes will be part of our paradise and every time I come I will feel you, until the day comes you decide to come for me, meanwhile I will feel you in the breeze, in the water, I will see you to the sky and from that same heavenly sky You will see me too.

Recuerdas aquella vez que nos caímos de ese precario bote?, nuestra primera cita en este lago que se convirtió en el refugio de nuestras alegrías y llantos. 

Aquí me me propusiste matrimonio, esos nervios tuyos que te hacían temblar y te largabas a reír, pasaste así unas largas horas en las que tu tartamuda voz impedían decir _te quieres casar conmigo,_entró la tarde y la luna nos observaba hasta que de tus labios al fin salió la propuesta, la cual recibió ese gran SÍ que retumbó fuerte hacia esa montaña que en marcaba el principio de la felicidad. 

Recuerdas que al estar casados vinimos de vacaciones, llegamos a nuestro paraíso, así lo nombraste y estuve de acuerdo, acá en este cielo que ahora observo, era igual de celeste que aquel día, ese día que te dije se agranda la familia ya que seríamos padres. 

Recuerdas amor, vinimos con los hijos incontables veces, si cierro los ojos los veo correr por la orilla del lago, disfrutando del  agua tan pura y clara. 

Cuantas veces más vivimos después los dos solos, cuando los hijos crecieron y formaron sus familias, cuántas veces más reímos en este lago al seguir navegando en ese bote donde todo comenzó. 

Ay amor, 60 años juntos; donde este paraíso sigue cobrando vida, donde este frondoso árbol es enorme y lo vimos tan pequeño, recuerdas amor las veces que cantamos esa canción que tanto nos gustaba, nos tomábamos de las manos y entrelazabamos nuestros dedos para no soltarnos más. 

Hoy vengo en compañía de los hijos a nuestro bello paraíso, cumpliré esa promesa que nos hicimos, vienes conmigo en mis manos, hoy ya no siento tu cuerpo; más sin embargo tus cenizas serán parte de nuestro paraíso y cada vez que venga te sentiré, hasta que llegue el día decidas venir por mi, mientras tanto te sentiré en la brisa, en el agua, te veré al cielo y desde ese mismo celeste cielo me verás también a mi.
