Discussion: On the Book Community (BookTube)

Hi Steemians!

In today's video I shared a few of the concerns I have with the book community on Youtube and the things that I'm not too happy about. Overall I think it's a very positive and inclusive community, but in my opinion there is stillroom for improvement.

Some of my pet peeves with the community include: people rating books they haven't read yet, people not talking about books they didn't like and people feeling like they're not allowed to have an opinion on certain books.

If the term booktube doesn't mean anything to you - it's basically just the sub-community on Youtube of people talking about and reviewing books!
