Last night I was watching the stars come out, you can't just sit in the city to see the stars so you have to drive out away from the city in an area on a hill to get the best views. I sometimes go out to the lake, it's closes at sunset however people still walk around the lake exploring while telling stories that scares you sending chills down your spine. 

Going out to the lake by your self isn't recommended, it's not just the unknown people you may spot along the way,  it is said that abnormal events take place, ghost floating on the water, to haunting in the woods, sometimes you can hear people yell out strange things (I'm not saying that's abnormal but rather more like drunk teenagers running a muck. 

Ignoring that you can see the stars a lot better, I would suggest going up the mountain side away from the homes to get a better look but that is one heck of a hike. Light pollution isn't as bad but still has a bad effect so don't expect to see a lot of stars on a clear night.  

I remember going to the lake one night and as I was walking down the trail I could hear something to the side pacing me, I was already deep in the woods so going back wasn't really an option. You know no matter how brave you are, something following you sets off a lot of red flags at the time I had a pocket knife and I was ready to use it if I had to but I honestly I was really hoping I didn't have to, I just wanted to check out the stars and see how clear I could seem them that night. Well whatever it was that was following me had stop for a moment and I let out a sigh of release but still was alert and aware watching out of the corner of my eyes, It could just be an animal protecting it's area or maybe just trying to figure out what this guy was doing out on the lake so late at night.

As you can imagine it's hard to see when it's dark, I did have a flash light but I wish I had spent the extra money and got a good quality one, I wont make that mistake again. It kept tapping in and out in and out as if it had a bad connection to a wire or something so when it stop working I would use the light on my cell phone to light the path way.  I had planned on walking to the top of the mountain however I couldn't make it that far, it's better to wait until it's day time and make that hike setup a little tent and make a night of it. 

As I was walking down the path it's not the same as walking the paths during the day and I had a hard time figuring out where I was and where I was trying to get it. Its as if the paths where changing and I was walking in circles. My cell phone battery was drained so I shut it off and tried to walk my moonlight, I heard something up ahead to the side thinking it was people, thought if they didn't look crazy I could ask them about where we where at and how far I was from where I wanted to go.  

As I came up to the side and looked down I see a camp fire, this far out it isn't normally a big deal but they do patrol the lake and if they see any kind of fire in areas that aren't a camping areas they will give you hell for, not even joking about that. So I started to walk down to the camp and I see a group of people all standing around in a circle... Well you would think nothing about it right? right..... they had black cloaks with hoods and from what I could see some kind of mask. All a sudden I was feeling like... "Alice isn't in Wonderland" anymore. I backed up and quietly tried to make my way up the hillside with out being noticed by the group of very dangerous people who wouldn't be happy to see this sheep walk into that sacrificial moment. I'm not saying they are going to kill me  or they are murders or anything, I'm just saying for me....at that time....my mind is say...Oh, no way in hell am I going to interrupt what looks to be nice church going people having some tea roasting marshmallows in the middle of the forest. You know what I mean.....

As I was making my way back up I had stepped on what I think was a branch and it made a big pop sound, I stop for a second and look back as I heard them stop chanting whatever it was they where chanting. and I could see a few of them looking up my way.  I couldn't move, I mean I tried to move my legs but they wouldn't go. I was stuck I could move my arms but not my legs then I hear laughing and right at that point I leaped out of my spot and ran up that hill as fast as I could. 

I get to the road and I hear some sounds behind me, thinking it was them trying to catch me I started to run down the road and head to the side street where I parked. I come up on a split in the path and I take my turn when something grab my arm and wouldn't let go. I can hear my jacket rip as I pulled and I got loose to run the rest of the way to my motorcycle. I already had my key in my hand but I couldn't get the key in no matter what I did, GOT IT, I turn it over but it wouldn't start, so I start to push the motorcycle down the road maybe I can get enough speed to start it. I remember to turn on the choke as it was an older carburetor style engine. Vroooom it kicks in and I speed my way as fast as I could.  

I don't know what just happened but it seems a night of stargazing almost turned into jonbit soup, no no no...I don't like jonbit soup, I don't taste that good.  I don't think I'll be doing anymore stargazing at night, at least not with out friends... The problem is it's not easy to find cool people that just want to go out and explore and take photos of the stars in my area.

## Make @shadowbot your Witness Voting Proxy
