wow .. this system is understandable and it is true, every time we can see a bit more of the Wall Street system, let's hope these news ones will not make the cryto system in a negative way. positivism total. :)

Let's hope it is true what he is saying. Because we all could use signs of marker improvements. At the moment it is not funny to be a crypto investor!
But on the other side, we all did invest knowing that we could loose it. I don't think this will happen, we just need more patience to cash in :)

That's actually a very positive post. It's worth remembering that the currenty crypto community is still a fraction of the general population. It may not look like this from inside, but take a step out to the real world, ask around and you'll quickly realize how low is general awarenes about cryptocurrencies. Blockchain news only now slip into the general public.

Rules and regulations need to be established and these big guns will definitely come in. The returns are too good to ignore. We can assume that they are setting in place for them to come in by the purchase of Poloniex. Really hope this will happen then when the floodgates are opened, the prices will fly. Both politics & big financial markets are 2 faces to the same coin of the ugly unexpected game

The way I see it is that the US government and its regulatory agencies have 2 choices; close their doors to cryptocurrencies and their technology and lose years of innovation and economic efficiencies or embrace the space and provide clear guidelines to promote responsible regulation.  Despite the risks the space has to traditional financial institutions, the government will not want this technology to grow elsewhere so clarity should be coming soon.

That’s what I’ve thought as well. With the size of the crypto market , almost no western money has entered it yet. It will be a huge leg up once some of this money starts to find its way in. Thanks for the post!

What about east? I cannot believe that western financial sharks let cryptos alone.

This was similar to what Mike Novogratz was saying a few months before Crypto went parabolic during the fall.  He was saying "the heard is coming" and he was right.  We only had a taste of Institutional buying Q4 of 2017.  The big money is coming and they buy it low like right after a 70% crash.  Probably $1-$2 trillion of Crypto by end of this year.  Smart big money buys now.

I quite remember telling a friend that all the regulations, heavy G20 and the other rules are just indications that cryptos are here to stay amd they've become too important to be overlooked by authorities.

@jrcornel I was being reading before read your your post about specified technology ; not doubt, occidents businesses are reorganizing, looking  to bring to their businesses highest profits  and innovations, trying not to loose their guidelines.
Cryptography is our present and the future for lot of people and institutions. Of course, its will take their position again.

I am especially excited for a crypto ETF - the recent comments from CBOE will hopefully expedite this.  Gold experienced a dramatic surge following introduction of the first ETF, and I expect this to be no different.  So many people want exposure to this market, but are not comfortable holding their own private keys or leaving the safety of a traditional brokerage service.

Also in my opinion regulations will be a good thing for all of us.

At the minute it is very painful looking at Blockfolio but shorting coins and grabbing free crypto at the minute is good :-)

Seems most of the monies in crypto is coming from Asia and once the west starts investing hugely, price will start hiking and now market is low is best time for investors. Tks for sharing

Right now - as of today - the crypto markets are crashing.

Maybe this is in the best intersts of the zionists who control financial markets.

We shall see - but today of all days is not the day for yelling hodl.

But when? We are down another 6% today and we just keep dropping. Institutional money is only any good if it actually buys in!

The problem at the moment is that investors are withdrawing money from the hedge funds. So till they stem the flow, they haven't got the cash to put into crypto.
