지인 분의 자동차 사고 소식을 들으며..

[대전 월평동 중고차 단지에서] 

> 과장님.. 남편이 운전하다가 실수로 브레이크를 밟는다는게 가속페달을 밟아버렸어요. 폐차를 할 지 , 수리를 할지 어떻게 하는 게 좋아요? 

지난 주에 한 고객님 어머님이 전화를 주셨습니다. 

다행히도 주행중에 그런 것은 아니고 주차장에서 차를 빼다가 앞에 승합차가 나타나 당황한 나머지 접촉사고가 났다고 합니다. 

보험사 소장님, 공업사 직원 분 수소문해서 처리 방법을 알려드리게 되었습니다. 

어머님은 당장 차가 있어야 일을 할 수 있는데, 차를 새로 알아보는 것도 쉽지는 않은 상황입니다. 기존 차량 크기의 새차는 단종된 상태이고, 중고차로 구입하려니, 의외로 금액이 높은 편이구요.

제가 일했던 (지금도 사원증을 갖고 있지만) 사무실의 든든한 파트너인 박부장님께 상담을 부탁드렸습니다.

* 뉴스에서만 접했던 브레이크와 가속 페달을 착각해서 일어나는 교통사고가 주변 지인에게 일어났다는 것을 들으며, 자동차 운전하는데 있어 더 주의하고 조심해야 할 것을 생각하게 됩니다.  이런 경우는 어르신 뿐만 아니라, 젊은 사람도 실수할 수 있는 부분이기 때문입니다. 

* 중고차 매장에서는 꽤 오랜 기간 일을 했네요. 자동차 관련 컨텐츠 작성 및 컨설팅을 하다보니, 실제로 발을 담그고 일을 해 봐야 그 안에서 일어나는 여러 일들을 알 수 있었습니다. 중고차 시장에서 일하면서 경험하게 된 여러 일들도 앞으로 소개할 수 있겠다는 생각이 드네요.
