There is a reason why we have a low self-esteem. Maybe somebody told us that we are not good and we believed in it. Like what Eleanor Roosevelt said, we can never be inferior without our consent. Believe in your capability. If there's a conversation, speak up and share your opinion. 

Associates with Many People. Enlarge your circle of friends. Do not left alone. It's difficult that you are just in the corner and emote without  having anyone to talk to. Approach those people who can encourage you, like those like-minded people which have the same interests and vision of life like you. Remove those stressors in life ---- it may a thing or person who instead helping you to be happy, they more trapped you in sorrow.

Stop Comparing Yourself to Others. They are different, you are different. It doesn't mean because they are white and have a prominent nose, their more beautiful. Comparison can make you forget your identity. The flip side of it, you might be too arrogant because you look at the others much more lower type than you. Then this should never happen. We should celebrate diversity. Furthering down the color, more fun.

Forsake a Life of Sin. King Solomon said, "righteousness exalts a nation, sin is a reproach to any people." Because of our stupidity and wrong doing, we look down our self and decreases our self-esteem as to what others saw into us. Shamed is always attached in sin. You don't have a face to present in front of many people. Your world become smaller. So if you don't want this to happen, don't dive in the sins of the world.

See Yourself from God's Perspective. We were created in the very image of God. The man is the greatest that He has created among others and made it to manage everything in this world. It was written by King David that God created the man almost more than the Angels. Man is the object of God's salvation. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ to redeem us from our sins. We have to repent of the sin of self-pity. If we are important in the sight of God, we also need to appreciate ourselves.
