*"Don't just spice up your life, set it on fire!"*

This is my first update for my **steemjourney** here at the Steem blockchain. If you haven't read my previous post in this series, you can follow [this link](https://steemit.com/steemvesting/@kapengbarako/my-steem-journey-000).

The previous week has been a steady one. I can say that there's not much substantial increase with my payouts but the good thing about it is they are consistently, though in very small amounts, being transferred to my accounts, both in **Steem Power (SP)**, **Steem**, or **SBD**. For newbies like me who are still confused about the similarities and differences about those these concepts, [this is what I read](https://medium.com/1ramp/still-confused-by-steem-steem-power-and-steem-dollars-read-this-220ace402bcb) to help me out.

I also increased my activity in **[Actifit](https://actifit.io/signup?referrer=kapengbarako)**, I am now averaging more than 10k activity numbers per day in which I get to maximize rewards that Actifit gives to its users. The good about Actifit is if you are moving all day doing your usual stuff, the app logs that activity which you can post later in Steem. That alone gives you a constant source of daily content to your blog that also earns rewards - AFIT tokens. At the moment, I am just saving my AFIT tokens and use some of them to promote my Actifit posts (that's the only use I have for them apparently). The good news is that **@actifit** had [posted](https://steemit.com/actifit/@actifit/actifit-daily-upcoming-partnerships-professional-status-utility-and-afit-transfer-to-s-e-and-our-daily-updates-1562769496556) four days ago that they plan to allow users to have their earned tokens be transferred to Steem Engine. In addition, there have other future plans to roll out in the future which I am looking forward to.

I started cross-posting my SteemIt content to **[NEOXIAN](https://www.neoxian.city)**, a new Scot tribe that started a couple of weeks back. In this way, I can also earn NEOXAG tokens which I hope will be useful in the future. Just use the tag **NEOXIAN** in your posts to have your content posted in their platform too. I am doing the same with the **[SPORTSTALK](https://www.sportstalksocial.com/)**. I did not actually put too much attention with SportsTalk as I rarely write about sports and gaming in general, but when I checked and logged in to their website (using my STEEM credentials), I saw that people are posting their **Actifit** reports so I saw another opportunity, where I can have a chance to earn **SPORTS** token. From then on, I am cross-posting my **Actifit** reports to **SportsTalk** by using the **SPORTSTALK** tag.

Since last update, I have also purchased additional STEEM worth $50 and converted some of them to Steem Power. I set aside the remaining amount for future use - payment for promotions and joining other programs requiring payment in STEEM. That explains why my STEEM numbers jumped to a larger number than what I had in the previous update. 

Last week, When checking some accounts that I follow, I stumbled **@gailbelga**'s profile. I saw that she's got **SNAX** tokens. It caught my attention and searched immediately for its website. [SNAX](https://snax.one) rewards users for their social activity. At the moment, when you sign up, you can link both your STEEM and Twitter (if you have one) accounts so you can earn **SNAX** tokens everyone you use both of those media planforms. If you haven't registered yet, register here and get 50 free **SNAX** tokens.

In my previous post, I mentioned that for my stats, I will convert my Steem and SBD to SteemPower, which will reset my SBD and STEEM values to zero everyone time I post an update to this series. However, it will be harder to compare the previous and present figures as per earnings in SBD and STEEM. For instance, when I bought some additional STEEM, my numbers became a combination of earned STEEM and purchased STEEM. Starting this update instead, I just put my current holdings (including other tokens) so we can have something to compare.
