A New Way Of Life: October 18 2019

Thanks for dropping by and here is a summary of my actifit report today.

 

I went to the hospital today to run some checks as I haven’t been sleeping much lately. I try to sleep but my brain keeps staying awake. Lol. And then sometimes it seems I’m knocked out and sleep more than necessary. Anyways, I am told to rest and chill for some time.

 

Most of my steps today were gotten from walking around the hospital to get some from one office to the other and then walking about waiting for my turn to see the doctor. He confirmed that I was ok but that I needed to talk things off my mind and relax. That I’ll do religiously. Lol.

 

Walking is ok though as it is a form of exercise and helps you relax too. You are able to observe things about you environment that you didn’t observe before. Playing the Splinterlands games is also relaxing and entertaining that is if you’re winning. I entered a contest today and beat someone twice my level in the first round but got kicked out by another guy twice my level. Lol. Boy! That was fun a load of fun.

I went for a walk or should I say I went to visit my street neighbor who is the secretary of the residential area where I live, there will be exco meeting tomorrow and we needed to discuss road repairs and security as the festive seasons are fast approaching so we need to buff up on all loose ends.

 

When I first heard a song by Eric Donaldson on the radio I thought he was a she, I mean I thought he was a woman, that was until I saw his album cover, I was like damn, all this while I thought a lady sang the song. Got to hand it to him he was a great musician with loads of great songs. He is gone now but his songs still remain with us.

😁👍 it isn't legal in my country @davedickeyall and also I have a very very light brain since little alcohol in wine can make me tipsy.

I am pretty sure if you try the brand of cannabis we have here it will knock you out because it is driving a lot of our youths loco as they combine it with loads of stuff. 

Now kids are combining simple drugs like cough syrub and pain killers and boom! They end up dead or in a mental hospital or on the street. The worst part is when it leads them to violence or for those that used it for sexually enhancement their heart stops breathing.

Hey @ketcom!  I understand the sleep/lack of sleep, thing.  I too often go to bed and my brain won't shut off.  It's like you're the ping pong ball in a little square box, bouncing off of the walls.  Stress is not a good thing.  Do something fun with the family and forget about all the stuff you think you need to do.  Hiking will help too.  Take care of yourself and get some restful sleep.
