###### What is common in the technology community is that the "Mac" devices developed by the "Apple" company enjoy a high degree of safety and protection, but a mysterious virus has raised huge concerns, in recent times, after reports of its widespread spread.


# The researcher and expert in cybersecurity, Red Konare, published data on the ability of the virus to infect 29,139 Mac computers in more than 150 countries.

But what raises the confusion about the virus, is the lack of knowledge of what exactly it is seeking, and what it wants to achieve through widespread penetration, because it did not cause any harm at all.

According to what was revealed by the expert and an anti-malware program, the new virus strain that targets Mac computers is known as "Silver Sparrow" or "Silver Sparrow."

The expert stated that this virus can infect processors of "Intel" and "Apple", while these two companies acknowledged that the malicious program is widespread enough to pose a serious threat.

She explained that this malicious program poses this dangerous threat even if it does not perform "harmful" behavior, as is customary when the virus is able to infiltrate devices.

The MacWorld website, which specializes in technology affairs, wrote, "In short, this virus does not do anything in the devices it infiltrates," meaning that it does not initiate data theft, for example.

After extensive investigations, it was found that this malicious program is delivering a shipment with effect into the device, but it does not do anything suspiciously after that.

In its response to the "crisis," the company "Apple" withdrew the certificates of developers who believed that their flaws were the cause of the arrival of this virus.

And "Apple" also took the initiative to reassure, saying that the devices that will be manufactured in the future will be difficult to penetrate the "silver bird" and the like.

And the company "Apple" relied in its report on what the expert had warned Konare, but no information was presented about the "harmful effect" of the malicious program.

**However, the "Silver Sparrow" virus is not the first malicious program to infect the "M1" chip of Apple, while expert Patrick Wardle said that the virus was designed mainly to target a number of "Apple" devices such as "Mac mini" and "MacBook Pro".**
