GERD & GOUT - natural remedies from Siberia & South Africa

Today I would like to share with you two amazing natural remedies that have given me much relief; one derived from an indigenous plant found in South Africa and the other all the way from Siberia! 

I'll start in Siberia - GERD - those suffering from this condition knows exactly what I'm talking about, Gastroesophageal reflux disease. They also know about the discomfort and risks associated with this condition - the main one being cancer of the esophagus.

I wrote about finding an amazing natural remedy some months back on the advice of my very wise *and open to natural remedies* doctor; the immediate relief had me so excited that I wrote a post [Is your GERD causing Bronchitis](https://steemit.com/naturalmedicine/@lizelle/is-your-gerd-causing-bronchitis) only a couple of days after starting cold pressed Siberian Pine Nut Oil. Please read that post as GERD indeed gave me acute Bronchitis due to stomach acid constantly being inhaled after it’s regurgitated. 
I was further diagnosed with uncontrolled Asthma as I would often choke up and not be able to breathe. 

One giveaway sign that this had to do with digestion, was the huge amount of phlegm that suddenly appeared after every meal or snack, very scary indeed!

I had a Gastroscope and GERD was confirmed where after the Gastroenterologist prescribed a proton pump inhibitor (Nexium/ Omez).
This helped a little but I still had discomfort after meals, despite taking the tablets as prescribed and being careful what I ate. These tablets also have nasty side effects if used long term.

I can now report back some five months later that I no longer require this medication and only take the Siberian Pine Nut Oil once a day. 
I have not had any respiratory infection and also managed to stop using the corticosteroid Asthma preventative pump, obviously also not good long term! 
*Please do not ignore GERD and try this remedy.*

Another really amazing natural remedy from South Africa is Cape Aloe Ferox Crystals, not to be confused with Aloe Vera. 

I will list just some of the medicinal benefits of this natural product which is high in nutritional value:
* Liver detoxifier
* Colon cleanser
* Constipation
* Anti-inflammatory
* Anti-tumor
* Gout and Arthritis
* Slimming

A very good friend who suffered from real bad bouts of Gout had spent loads of money on specialists and pharmaceutical drugs when someone told him about this remedy - one tiny crystal about the size of a match stick head, not bigger, taken on an empty stomach every morning. 
Taken daily it is said to reduce the accumulation of toxins in the body and to correct the pH balance in the body. My dear old friend is pain free and does not have to outlay huge sums on specialists and medications which also have some nasty side effects!

I can attest to the cleansing effect, so if you do get hold of this product, use it sparingly as these little crystals are a potent laxative! 

Locally it costs a minimal ZAR8.50 (USD 0.61), although I've seen it being sold online outside of South Africa for around USD12.

Casualties and fatalities researched from literature, government reports and expert databases indicate that approximately zero (0,000%) cases are due to the use of complementary health products, whereas 5,176% are due to properly prescribed and used drugs. Really so much better as there are no side effects if taken correctly, unlike the chemical meds, which obviously do have their place but if I can find a natural alternative, I will rather use that.

Wow.  Thanks Lizelle.  I always try to go herbal before pharma, it's just sorta how I am.  In fact, I am currently on medications strike.  I make my doctor crazy but she at least understands two things.  That she works for me, not the other way round and that I have a right to choose my own destiny and treatments.

My mother had gerd.  She took Nexium for years.  Just after her passing I heard about a class action suit that I checked into.  She was utterly qualified except for age.  She was post 80 when she had her stroke AND heart attack.  

I'll check into the Aloe Ferox.  I suffer some from arthritis, and have been strongly considering CBL oil.  I am frankly afraid of the CBL oil simply because I am long term in recovery and do not want to touch marijuana even in that form.  Call me a coward.

Please try and get hold if the Aloe Ferox, really is worth trying it but remember that those tiny bitter crystals are powerful indeed. It was the only thing that helped my old friend with his gout. But careful about what meds you cut out. Apple cider vinegar is also supposed to help with arthritis. An excellent natural anti inflammatory is turmeric, one can get it in tablet form but we drink [golden milk](https://wellnessmama.com/223/turmeric-tea/) every morning and all my nightly aches and pains are gone. We use a good quality turmeric from the health shop, many people prefer taking it in tablet form. I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom, this oil is brilliant, I'm so thankful my doctor told ne about it!
No I think you're wise about the CBS oil as the strengths vary and considering your history, don't want to face those demons again now. It's an amazing achievement that you have recovered!

Wow! This is good! My gall bladder was removed due to GERD creating stones on a Friday and the Saturday I was at a Papillon Board meeting! But since then I still suffered and was placed on a pill that I take now every morning to neutralize the acid. I was also diagnosed with asthma and given a pump due to high phlegm levels, but stopped using the pump. Then they put a hosepipe in my head (stent), as the Carotid artery to my brain was 95% blocked due to very high cholesterol levels and the result was statins, blood pressure pills. disprin, Q10 and what not. Marian was overjoyed now when I showed her this post Lady Lizelle. Thank you so much and I am definitely going to give the alternatives a try. Maybe it will also cure my autoimmune skin condition, as all of a sudden in 2012 I became allergic to the sun with itchy hives! Blessings!

The oil has really been a lifesaver, is quite pricey here in SA, I paid R300 for 250ml at Dischem, it's also obtainable online. I initially took 10ml twice a day but now only once a day, my doctor said her Mom does not even take it anymore, seems to have cured her problem altogether. You're probably on something similar to Nexium.
I'm sure the bitter aloe will also be beneficial.

I love the pic of the Cape Aloe!! I have seen those in New Mexico in the US, but they are called fire pokers there! I just love them and wish I could have on here in Panama. I am also from Durban originally, but I have been staying in the North West Province for 10 years now. 
Now that I think about it, I think I always see a lot of aloe ferox growing and flowering abundantly in the mountains before one reaches Pongola from Mpumalanga's side!

Very interesting although I fortunately don't suffer from any ailments.
I do sip Prosit Aloe juice in small amounts and would like to know if it is similar to the crystals that you mention.

I know the Aloe Vera drink which is excellent for digestion but this Bitter Aloe crystals is different.
