We may be in a very positive situation, feel very good about it but our emotions are not telling us that we should go and do this or do that. Sometimes our feelings can tell us, I need to eat more often or I need to exercise more. These feelings could be telling me I need to do something to make myself happy. These types of feelings could also tell me that my job is boring or not exciting enough. These feelings might be telling me that I am not a good employee. These types of feelings could even tell me I am not a good parent.

Sometimes our feelings could talk when we are sad about something or upset about something. When we have hurt feelings we may cry or we might even throw a temper tantrum. If we are in a relationship, we may tell each other we need to work on our relationship. These feelings could tell us we need to work on not being hurtful to others.

Our feelings can tell us we are not getting enough sleep. Or we may feel tired all the time. This may tell us we need to eat better foods or we may need to work out more. Sometimes these feelings are just part of the daily struggle of life and we let them control us. We can usually get more sleep or we can work out more.

If we are ill or have an illness that causes us physical pain we may be unable to sleep or we might not be able to function when we are ill. We might tell ourselves we need to take medication. These feelings will tell me I need to do something about this.
