Python Programming on Micro Controllers
https://youtu.be/qIVVlgg1uHk

People seemed to like my [post about Micro/Circuitpython](https://steemit.com/making/@makerhacks/circuitpython-and-micropython-making-microcontroller-making-easier), so I thought I would put a video to show you just how straightforward and fuss-free running Python these tiny devices can be!

I show you some Adafruit boards, show you some demos running, then go to the desktop and quickly show the code.

There is something really cool about being able to edit right to the text file, no editor, IDE, compiling etc, and talking to the serial monitor is as simple as PRINT, just like on the command line :)

## Check it out and let me know what you think?

I got that same one, ended up turning it into Simon Says clone for my son. It's really cool, I just with the temperature sensor was more accurate. Really fun to tinker with as it has a lot of options on one tiny board.

My guess is the heat from the board itself affected it

Great vid!

I don't know much about Rasberry Pi or Python (yet!), but I assume its the same/similar to Arduino. Are you just tinkering with your code and then reflashing the EEPROM like with 3d printers?

Also, I don't know if you have seen any of the youtube vids of people printing and building their own quadcoptors? But I have been meaning to have a go at this myself, looks like gret fun!

It looks like this guy here is using an arduino board or a clone if you are interested...

Pretty much but the big difference with Circuit Python is the code appears as a text file on an external drive - no special upload/compile/tools, just any text editor and hit save

> Also, I don't know if you have seen any of the youtube vids of people printing and building their own quadcoptors?

yes, I am building one! I am following Daniel Noree design, you can hear an interview I did with him here:

Awesome!

Please keep videos of your build, from design, right through to print and test flights.

No presure 😊.
