#needleworkmonday :: Scarf.. finally...

<br>Back in July, I started [crocheting a simple scarf](https://steemit.com/actifit/@marblely/actifit-marblely-20190610t142849833z) and I am happy that I have finally completed it, phew 😅

<br>Towards the end, I had excess of the beige yarn and I thought why not just finish it off and give the scarf a slightly un-uniformed pattern although the earlier intention was to pair the 2 colours, each colour 2 rows, to create a uniformed pattern.

<br>It took me a loooong while and quite a bit of patience to work on the repetitive pattern. My motivation was to be able to finish off the yarn 😄. And I like how it turned out.

<br>I remember I used to be able to work on repetitive patterns and stick with it throughout the day but as I got older, my level of patience has depleted somehow.

**My Actifit Today : 7 October 2019**

Ah, I use steempeak to draft my post first, add in all the images, etc. And then I copied the draft and paste it into the actifit app to post.
How do you post usually? You can draft it there first and then copy and paste into the actifit app.

You finished it 🎉🎉 This is a wonderful accomplishment. The linen stitch looks so lovely in the variegated part of the scarf and I understand that you found this not too easy to finish. I have made one bigger project with this stitch pattern and I so often got out of rhythm (I hope I have identified the stitch right :-D) 
And the beret is something I never tried... I was contemplating to try to knit one, as I have a friend who loves to wear them, but in knitting it seemed to complicated (for the impatient crafter I sometimes are). Did you improvised the pattern or do you have a written pattern/schematic for the beret?

So sorry for this late reply! Thank you, thank you! Hehe I think the linen stitch has a few names. Some calls it seed stitch too I think.

I am using a thinner yarn, so I am making more rounds first to grow the beret before moving on to shaping the forehead part. So far, I have not reached there yet :P
