Frosty Morning

The weather has taken a turn for the colder. Days are quickly becoming shorter. If you look at the trees, it still looks like summer out there but it's definitely too cold for going out in a t-shirt and shorts. I guess a few weeks from now the foliage will turn bright yellow and red. October is a pretty good time for photography for that reason alone.

But this morning, I got some frosty shots of green grass.

It's still mostly green out there.

I like the light here and the backlit plants whatever they are. But I dislike the lens glare. I'm wondering how one could minimize it.

They are even more distinct here on the 60th latitude than in the 50s where you live. Maybe too distinct. I'm going to have to purchase new snow guards to be installed on the roof of our carport because they came crashing down because of the weight of the snow last spring. Luckily, nobody was anywhere near at the time.

Yeah, don't know if I need *that* kind of 'distinction', especially if you have some physical limitations like me snow is pretty much the cause of total isolation as it's impossible/harder to leave the house. Sometimes I want to move to a country were the winters are above 12 degrees Celsius as pain levels rise exponentially when it gets colder than that :-)
