BE DILIGENT IN SEARCHING AND LEARNING

FAITH COMES BY HEARING THE WORD!

There are too many voices in the world, so much so that even some righteous souls have been deceived and almost carried away by the rising tide. The things of the Spirit do not come natural to men, they are carefully and intentionally sought after; they come from a longing that is born out of "a hunger and thirst for righteousness". Remember, the Lord Himself said that 'we should not give precious things to swine'. I feel we all know what Jesus meant - He was not referring to literal swines but to those who treat spiritual Truths with disdain.

In the coming days, it is well known that darkness will cover this earth much like in days of Lot - truly biblical. The open and flagrant disregard for the things of God, so much so that those who are not rooted and grounded in the house of our God may also be swept away.

Jer 6:16 is so insightful "Thus saith the Lord, stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, we will not walk therein." The instruction is for us to stand in the ways; to diligently observe, to ask the right questions and to return to the old but certain path that our forebears have walked. Men like Abraham, Isaac, Israel, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, David, Peter, John, Paul, etc. These men have left us an example of righteous living that we may lay hold of. It seems that we must look backwards in order to move forward.

Jeremiah says that those who find this way and continuously walk in it will come into a state of peace with prosperity, for themselves.
