 I've gone and done it again. I've created yet another community, [Steem Think Tank](https://beta.steemit.com/trending/hive-136578). This community is for you dreamers out there. The people that have cool, and maybe wild and crazy ideas about how to improve Steem and Steem applications. If you've got an idea that you feel like would make Steem or an application built on Steem better, Steem Think Tank is the place to let it be known. I want this to be a place where you can throw out all sorts of ideas for... - Features - Marketing - Branding - User Experience - Technical Improvements - Pie in the sky visions The other thing I want to use this community for that is related to thinking up new ideas... # User Surveys There is, in my mind a HUGE problem with how things are being developed on Steem. I feel like UX is being either skipped all together or treated as a nice to have vs the essential component of application development that it is. Steem has amazing technology under the hood, and in all honesty I'm amazed at some of the projects we have going on here. They have so much of a word I'm actually sick of hearing at this point...potential. I want us to do all we can to move away from being a place that has a ton of potential, to being a place of actually capitalizing on that potential. I think the bridge between these two places is UX(User Experience). It's how people FEEL when they're using our applications. Are they confused, frustrated, lost, excited, happy, whatever. You can't determine these things without actually surveying users, and that will be a major part of this community. I hope that developers will use this community as a resource to start to develop their applications with a human centered design focus, and I hope Steem users will use this community to help developers by giving them thoughtful, honest feedback about their applications. I also hope that if you have some Steem Power and you also think that this is an essential component to improving Steem, that you'll curate the contributors to this community so that they're incentivised to take the time to provide this feedback.
