What's the best Christmas you've ever had?

Mine was actually last year, when my family went to Colonial Williamsburg for my grandma's birthday.

Her birthday is 2 days before Christmas, and she turned 80 last year.

It's always been on her bucket list to spend Christmas in Williamsburg, so well all went.

It was easily the most memorable Christmas I've had.

I'm all about experiences vs. presents.

I'd take experiences any day.

How about you?

You remember experiences forever.

Until you get older and then maybe have memory issues, anyway.

Or you're like me and you sort of have them already, haha.

Anyway, if you ever want to spend Christmas like an old-school Colonial, go to Williamsburg.

Aw man, all I wanted for Christmas was a rolling hoop.  

It took me ages to figure out that the girl was sitting on top of the barrel and wasn't just in the barrel like some sort of unmagical mermaid.

Also, can you explain what's happening in your title photo?  Did your arms disappear and you're freaking the heck out?

I was hiking on Lake District area in UK last year and I remember it was much warmer than I thought. I discovered scones with jam and cream and I they are now my favourite British sweet. It was exactly what I aimed, good company, nature, good food and lovely people. Great combo :)
