Often times we learn by experience; which is an accumulation of mistakes and also testimonies from people; either through reading or by direct contact with people. You can't help but step on each other's toes in life. Establishing the fact that you can't help but hurt each other once in a while as you go and grow through life, this is why forgiving people is vital. You can't keep holding things against people every time; your conscience won't take it and for the sake of your heart too. Forgiveness is one of key to successful relationship especially with God and fellow man. Faults, hurt/wrongs against one another is inevitable either passively or actively. What's more important is not just realising we have erred but ways and manner of dealing with it. Forgiveness is also a show and sign of maturity, consideration of another person's feelings, being responsible etcetera. Forgiveness i have to realise is a virture, just as Patience. Forgiveness is a way of opening up access to ones own freedom, Peace, closeness to God too.
