📷 A photo experiment. Studying photography basics: still life and focus points

My goal today is to show how different focus points can influence composition. I wanted to emphasize different parts of the fruit arrangement in the picture and  experimented with different focus points for that.

Here is what I got:

*I tried to follow advice of professional photographers that it`s better to chose a focus point a bit closer than the object itself. This way you allow a wider depth of field behind the object, rather than making the foreground and everything in front of the object sharp.*

Beautiful still-life compositions! I also like to play with DOF, and, of course, Bokeh. I'm looking forward to trying my new Panasonic camera :))) I hope it will arrive next week!
