This happened with me also sometime laziness and sometime other works takes our energy but it is part of our life. After some time when we energy refilled you will came back on track

I also plan like @overkillcoin, I want to post every day, but I am very busy with my work, until I do not have time to post and comment, but for me still struggling to the best way, as long as I still have a chance.

I know that feeling very well. The urge to produce and yet turning in circles. Even worse when something outside the Steemit world happens and distracts from my progress I feel unease and nervousness. That’s not good as it makes the actual life seem less relevant. Something to ponder about while walking in circles again. ;)

Your emotions are so similar to mine. I also have a severe competition for time between Steem and my day job.

I also try to follow a similar tentative routine where I socialize during the week and try and post bulk of my content on the weekend.

Well, I have just started doing this as I am so new to Steemit. Hopefully, I will figure out a balance and one day may be that balance will no longer be needed.

Your the man bro haha I think you right on the money with your mindset. Freedom and discipline are hand in hand. It is sorta counter intuitive that the harder, more efficient, and consistent your work ethic is, the more financial and mental freedom you will have!

Preparation will get always get you through the process! I'm super pumped to do some sketches today! Not sure I'll finish seven but we all have to start some where haha

Emotional burnout is inevitable in cases where you work a lot and have little rest. You need to be able to get distracted ... but I understand you. When life is presented with opportunities, no one wants to miss them.

The most important conclusion is that reaching a certain point of development (like you), you must prioritize.

I need to figure out a way to make something similar happen for myself although it is a bit of a tough one seen as I write from intuition.

Probably another dumb idea of mine but how about inter grating your “day job” with steemit? 
I’m curious as to what goes in on a project.   
Samples of what goes into the work that you do for your clients would be great posts.  I know I’d enjoy them.  You’d be killing 2 birds with one stone so to speak.  You wouldn’t have to reveal everything.   I’m sure your clients wouldn’t appreciate that.   Lol.  But snippets of sample work would be awesome.   Just an idea big buddy.  : )

Its very normal to have conflict between our commitments and burning desires. Everyone suffers from this dilemma but we have to prioritize to gain maximum out of our resources and energy.

Every one has the burning desire to get best out of his time and abilities that is only possible to plan as you have already mentioned. We humans do feel in our thinking some ebb and flow. Sometimes we are very up with energy we create amazing content other time we are not satisfied with outcome of our potential.

I appreciate your opinion and suggestion. I hope you will come out of 9 to 5 monotonous routine and start enjoying your freedom as you are already faring well on this platform.

It’s definitely difficult to manage being on here with the outside “real world”. Haha I guess I just took an unintended five month hiatus! Bahaha.

I like your idea of batch authoring posts then coming in each day to slough off the 9-5 with Steemit socializing. I have to figure out my plan too... I've taken only the most necessary pauses since getting in last night and those didn't include sleep. Thanks for sharing. Upvoted and going to resteem because I think this will help many, including Steemit newbies like myself.

That sounds like really good progress. Not only did you create a plan for how to divvy up your time, you carried it out and it worked! Now you just need to rinse and repeat, while hoping that other factors don't change (like wanting to spend even *more* time on Steemit.) Regardless, it seems like you have a good action-plan to move forward. Good for you!

I've told you I'd understand if you wanted to step back, but Im glad you decided not to. In fact, the less we work the less we feel like working.
