Beautiful photos of the butterflies and the other lovely creatures. Bees are  so important for pollination of our food supply. They are scarce here mainly because of insecticides used on crops.  I don’t like to see them killed. Too bad the bee didn’t sting the wasp.

The wonders of nature if we just open our eyes....

Some amazing butterflies on wing around the garden this year from tiny little 1cm to bigger 3cm and most probably the biggest I saw this morning around 5cm looked like a tiny bird.

Caterpillars too have been exceptionally busy, I am watching a pupae at the moment I witnessed the caterpillar roll itself up entering the next stage, another few weeks to reveal all.

Small red wasps aplenty, I stay well away from those short tempered little ones. Big black wasps come into the home looking for somewhere cooler to set up their mud huts.

Nature sure has been a treat this year with rains, talking of which we need some again.
