# Racing as it should be

Last week in Le Castellet, the most boring race one can imagine. As there have been too many the last 15 years. 
Mostly because of the top teams being protected by the rules, and the rules... well... there are just too many rules in this racing competition.

But there is hope! And it comes by the name of Max Verstappen. He is so fearless, you wouldn't even write him off, if he started last. Yesterday, he started in second place on the grid, fell to seventh after a dreadful start, but what happened then was just magnificent racing on the edge. 

I feel for Charles Leclerc, because the overtaking by Max in the 69th round was on the limit, but that's what racing is all about, doing things on the limit, but just not over. Max outbraked him in the corner and next to him when they steered in, so when they touched, it was just a "racing incident"... Luckily, it wasn't punished like it happens so many times the last few years.
