Keeping It Real in the Here & Now
## Recently I came across a wonderfully insightful bit of wisdom.  In three short sentences it imparts a valuable life strategy.

Turns out there was a good explanation, it is a fake Lao Tzu quote. I don't read or speak Chinese, but I used google translate to get the characters for "counterfeit, fake." *Ich lese oder spreche kein Chinesisch, aber ich habe google translate benutzt, um die Zeichen für "Fälschung" zu finden. Ironischerweise sieht es im Hauptfoto recht beeindruckend aus - es sei denn, man versteht Chinesisch*. ;-)

## Keeping it Real in the Here & Now
I was genuinely disappointed  after learning that the quote was fake, yet on reflection I realized the quote is valuable regardless of its origin.  You can find similar sentiments about the  present by others, but this quote in comparison is elegantly and astutely formulated.  So I decided to share it with you.
## Now I wonder if this wonderful quote is actually from Lao Tzu 
(So far I can't find it in my TAO Te Ching)

Nonetheless, I love that quote, and the sentiment behind it.

## Falsch aber Wahr
*Ich war wirklich enttäuscht, als ich erfuhr, dass das Zitat gefälscht war, aber im Nachhinein erkannte ich, dass das Zitat unabhängig von seiner Herkunft wertvoll ist.  Man kann ähnliche Zitate über die **"Gegenwart"** von anderen finden, aber dieses Zitat im Vergleich ist besonders elegant und klug formuliert. Also habe ich beschlossen, es mit euch zu teilen.*
## Über die Echtheit dieses wunderbaren Zitat von Lao Tzu bin ich ebenfalls nun verunsichert.
**"Musik in der Seele kann vom Universum gehört werden."**

Nichtsdestotrotz liebe ich dieses Zitat und die Empfindung dahinter.

@myego13 I know exactly what you mean.   In terms of society in general, the "present" feels almost surreal to me much of the time.  

There is also "The Way" or "The Path" or "Truth" which is a road less traveled.  When we're on that path, the "present" is eternal and never ending.
