I was at the point where I would start to recall my memories, because I can remember watching Star Wars at the movie theatre.  Star Wars is one of my favorite movies and always will be.  It's the first movie I can remember watching at the movie theatre.

I will never forget when I saw Princess Leia the first time on the big screen.  Carrie Fisher was a beautiful young woman.  I remember being a little boy and having my first celebrity crush.  

In my young mind, I thought Carrie Fisher and were related somehow, because my mom was a twin to Debbie Reynolds.  Whenever my mom was out somewhere, she was always told she looked just like Debbie Reynolds.  She was even asked by some people, if she was Debbie Reynolds.    I remember my mom telling me that Debbie's daughter was princess Leia.

Was there an outside chance that I would meet Princess Leia because my mom was her mom's twin?  We had to be related somehow.  Maybe a search for Debbie's twin sister would finally reunite us as a family.   I can remember thinking this with my young imaginative mind.  

This day I'm remembering a young and beautiful Princess Leia and all the times my mom was asked if she was Debbie Reynolds.
