### The Prizes

Now, I'm not a big fan of making decisions based on online polls as they tend to end up as popularity contests and group hugs. I thought it might increase engagement, and in a small way they do. However, in the spirit of chaos, I'm going to dispense with the poll in the Fourth Nonsense Writing Contest. Doesn't make much difference now, but just to let you know. Feel free to comment with either joy or despair at this random change.

So, no poll as yet; this gives me an extra 12 hours to decide which pieces of writing to include.

I am also repeating the following section regarding comments and random rewards and tokens.

### Rewarding Comments

As we all know, upvoting comments has become a health issue since the last hard fork and is only worthwile if you have the lung capacity. However, there are a growing number of alternatives.

A reminder that comments receive CC tokens. I can now also distribute SHADE tokens, as well as a little BEER. The trendotokens are for posts only, so are given to those submitting entries.

But also, please be aware that all these tokens have a daily limit, so apologies to anybody who misses out - next time!

### The Paying Attention Award

Like in the Second Contest, here's a quick question. the first correct answer shall receive 1 free MAXUV token.

However, if you are the author, you shall receive 1 MAXUV for... *not* telling the answer!

The answer lies within one of our entries.

### And finally...

If you have nothing left to read, then I've tidied up the footer with links to all previous nonsense posts. Some of them discuss interesting issues and give examples of nonsense literature. A few are just administrative waffle but many have chewable benefits.
