I am a fashion designer, there was this particular customer of mine who wanted to make a southern native wear. I gave him the price and lo and behold he started telling me how much the material will cost and telling how its easy to make the cloth, but I kept quiet and listen to him and the end I realised he wanted to pave to beat down the price and check my competency and know how of the business. I ask him the name and grade of material he wanted me to use, I ask him some other accessories I would use in making the cloth and lo and behold he could not reply and I told him also that I have a standard with am confidence of and I cant go below my standard. He smiled and said, you know what you are doing and you know your work, he said he just said all what he said as a technique to beat down the price which he has been using in some other places which worked for him and he don't patronize some of them because they are not confidence and sure of their services and product. In business, confidence and proper knowledge of your skills, products, staffs, society, economic standard is key to your growth and survival. Thanks for reading
