The Blessedness Of Honesty

<p>I've applied yet another divergence from Science and Tech into another life's issue. I would be taking us through the benefits embedded in living a lifestyle of honesty.</p>

<p>Can I remind us this? Honesty is the best principle one can set for himself.</p>
<p>There's an ancient cliché that says that:&nbsp;</p>
<blockquote>“Honesty is the best policy” - Benjamin Franklin&nbsp;</blockquote>
<p>In my opinion, this phrase has been proven true over and over again.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Here are some of the blessedness embedded in honesty</p>
<ul>
  <li><strong>It reveals the real "you" for others to see</strong>: When you lead a fairly honest life, you build up your character, and your character is what defines you. Your looks may attract people to you, but it's your character that will keep them.</li>
  <li><strong>Honesty enhances your credibility</strong>: Believe me, no one will want to do anything with you if you've been known to have a history void of honesty. And the truth is, you're either honest or dishonest; there's no staying "in-between".</li>
</ul>
<p>Remember this:</p>
<blockquote>You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free</blockquote>
<p>And the truth is; it pays to be honest (quote me)</p>
<p>Someone that thinks that the price of honesty is much should try dishonesty. Believe me, the end result of dishonesty is grievous.&nbsp;</p>
<p>If you've ever told a lie before, you'll understand what I'm talking about. You'll also look for other lies to cover up your "ass". But when you choose the path of honesty, there won't be need to cover anything up.</p>
