## It was not my intention to share my [vaccines post](https://steemit.com/health/@samstonehill/truth-seeking-1-vaccines-and-the-hidden-agenda-a-detailed-examination-of-the-facts) on FB 
yet it still somehow found it's way to my 'wall' and needless to say it stirred up a fair bit of drama for me. 

My family & 'friends' are not as open-minded as the community here and don't seem to respond very well to anyone questioning vaccines.

The debate has been raging on for a week now with family members both privately and publicly.  And has been quite draining.  Not to mention a total waste of time.  

Consequently I announced this morning on Facebook that I will no longer be communicating with anyone on centralised platforms.  Unless it is an emergency.

I will still post there but if people want to talk to me they will have to join Steemit.

I am not interested in lining the pockets of Zuckerberg any more by interacting with people on Facebook.

## Why did I call my series 'Truth Seeking' and not 'The Truth'?

Because I am not claiming to have found the truth.

My intention is to tell you what I have personally learned about these subjects.  And I leave it up to you where you want to go from there.

## There is no 'Truth' expect that which we believe.  
Historically, we can see that our many 'truths' are in constant motion and not fixed in time.

For example, a long time ago everyone believed the Earth was flat.  

Then we believed it was a ball shape.  

And now there is a growing school of thought that it is flat again.  

Thankfully these days they don't burn you at the stake for standing in one camp or the other!  Though questioning this particular subject, much like vaccines on Facebook, doesn't seem to make you too many friends.

I recently had a 'friend' threaten to punch me in the face if I questioned the shape of our playground in front of him again.  But it was okay of course for him to send me endless 'proofs' of his personal 'truth' after this event.

## To Summarise
I do not claim to know all the facts and I am not here to tell anyone what to do.  

Nor do I judge anyone for their decisions. 

In fact, I strongly encourage you to question everything I say and it is my hope that by shedding some light on our general perceptions of 'truth' you will go and do some research of your own.
