THE QUEEN OF SPADES (an original poem)

We pray for mercy from the queen, 
Lustful words overstrike us for nothing;
She hopes that she has her addicts.

Her tempting voice hails to all,
I cannot resist paying my compliments:
"Reign - in peace and strong hands".

She blows away hearts and minds;
Strangers adore her charms and her 
Truthfulness, that come deep from inside.

Knights battle for her imagination, 
Numerous shawls she throws without care;
"Oh my", she exclaims in tiredness.

The queen is here and people tremble.
"I'm only an admirer of games!" she says;
Don’t judge me for writing - my cards are folded.
