My sister went on a trip to India and seen most of the places in Northern belt. Auli is one place which she remembers as she tried to explore a lot. There was not much of snow when she went there but scenery was absolutely amazing.  It's also cheap to travel there but hotel may cost a lot considering you're not local there. Even for locals, there is a heavy price for hotel. You may also find some different food variety there. Though international food chains such as Dominos and McDonalds are far away from this place. So you may have to adjust with the local food. Clouds and the scenery is absolutely awesome.  Lot of good points to see. And the best part is the lake.
