Rüzgar Enerji Santralleri.
Merhabalar,
Dünkü yazımda [Yoğunlaştırılmış Termal Güneş Enerjisi Santralleri](https://steemit.com/tr/@steemege/yogunlastirilmis-termal-guenes-enerjisi-santralleri)'nden bahsetmiştim. Bu durumda bir diğer yenilenebilir enerji kaynağı olan rüzgardan bahsetmeden olmaz.

Rüzgarın kinetik enerjisini mekanik enerjiye, onuda elektrik enerjisine çeviren sistemlerdir kısaca **Rüzgar Enerji Santralleri**.

Kabaca;
Kule, pervane, dişli ve şaft sistemi ile fren ve jeneratörden oluşan bu sistem rüzgarı elektrik enerjisine çevirmektedir. Rüzgar hızının istenenden fazla olması durumunda fren devreye girerek sistemin korunmasını sağlar. Üretilen elektrik enerjisi şebekeye direkt verilebildiği gibi, büyük batarya sistemlerine depolanarak kesintisiz olarak da verilebilir.

Bir rüzgar santralinin çalışması için rüzgarın hızının 6,5–7,0 m/s’den fazla olduğu yerler tercih edilmektedir. Bundan dolayı rüzgar santralleri kurulumu için yılın 12 ayı boyunca çok ciddi ölçümler yapılması gerekmektedir. Rüzgar konusunda şanslı bir ülke olan Türkiye'de Marmara ve Ege, rüzgar verimliliği en yüksek olan bölgelerdir.

Toplam kurulu gücü 6.872 MW olan rüzgar enerji santralleri ile ülkemizin ihtiyacının yaklaşık %7'sini karşılanmaktadır.
Ülkemizin hesaplanan rüzgar enerji potansiyelinin 48.000 MW olduğunu düşündüğümüzde temiz enerjiye konusunda çok şanslı olduğumuzu rahatlıkla görebiliriz.
