Just one of those days that calls for a shot of Jack Daniels paired with a good old Natty lite... 

Earlier today the kids and I spent some more time down by the river at Jones Point...

As I've said before it is one of our favorite places to hang out especially when the weather is around 80F in mid October!

Below this vandalized glass case (vandals really piss me off btw)  is the original border stone marking the meeting of Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. This was the southern most point of the District which originally included Alexandria and Arlington Virginia. It's a pretty cool spot and fun to know that it's yet another place George Washington stood at one time while he was President (he is reported to have visited the location to give his approval) 

Now it's time to hit the books and prep for some exams this week!
