We've had a few opportunities to belt out "welcome to the jungle" as we float down the river in Mexico, but it wasn't until San Blas that we decided to put our adventurous pants on (plus LOTS of bug repellant) and go out in a boat.

In retrospect, we weren't totally prepared for it, so that's why we included 5 helpful tips for getting the most out of a jungle boat tour in Mexico at the end of the video. The day started off with us getting scammed by a bus and then a cab, but we still made the most of it anyway. And thank goodness—we got to swim and play in some crystal clear water at the end!

Ouch! I guess that is everywhere. Once they know you are  new, they try to charge higher. I have experienced it several times in new places, even when i try to use a bold face. My cousin experienced it too. They charged him higher, he thought the place must be far, so he didn't argue. The bike man actually took him round the place he was meant to stop four times, to make it look far. He noticed he passed the same house four times. Sheer wickedness. So sorry about that.

Have been following this kind soul from the beginning!!!  It's true about reading it all and writing his heart out. I am happy to call @olawalium my friend.  

He has also pushed me to cteate on steemit when I was down and lazy (talling about #Dreamscometrue, Olawalium) and his comment always put a smile on my face! 

Thank you for helping him out, what ever you did, it sounds like it was super well appreciated!

And guys, excellent video. It reminded me of abtime I crossed the border from Mexico to Guatemala by boat, well except for the bit where we thought we were going to be in real trouble.  Beautiful trip you are having.

Thankfully, they had this netting/fence type thing that separated the rest of the river from where we were swimming. Otherwise, there's no way we'd even be sticking a pinky toe in there! Lol
