We all have our ups and downs my friend. Different people do different ways to vent their emotions out. At least we have steemit where we could share these feelings without hurting someone. And the community is always here for us to listen on what we feel.

I have a problem with my emotions, and I am almost always depressed, jus very little things could tick me off. I found that, in my own time, I can come out of it, given the right time frame. It helps once in a while, when my friends try to pull me out of it, whilst trying not to go sucked in by me, but if they fail, I'll meet them in happy town, when I'm ready. It takes time, only time.

I don’t know how it works for positive emotion but for negative emotions it is good to speak them out loud! It could decrease the negative feeling just by ventilating them. You can find people whi had suffered the same and could give you some tips how to deal with them! Or by just speaking with you and by giving another perspective the negative emotion could decrease!
Which brings me to the question why we believe in the fact that we see it as inferior to have bad mood or darker feelings. I do feel that it is part 2 of your previous post. We all suffer from this from time to time, we only deal with these in a different matter! But I know for sure that by keeping these feelings to ourselves for sure will not help!

I fall in the line of people who actually feel emotions can be passed through writing, some of us are just more capable than others when it comes to restricting or suppressing emotions. Some of us grew the strength along the way, for me, sometimes i get bothered that im too rigid, i show zero emotion, but i will still choose it rather than expressing it. I wish you more strength...nice dog thougg

I think being able to control emotions all the time takes a lot of self control and to be so controlled can make one seem inhuman, after all it is expected that one shows a certain reaction to any action. 

I am actually less trusting of people who keep their emotions bottled up. Those whom identifying markers like a frown, irritation, barrage of words, restlessness etc are absent. I feel that these kind of people if pressured, would do harm and no one would know. Basically, for me, they are dangerous to anger. 

Emotions like language are part of the human feedback mechanism. They might not always be positive but they are ways in which people tell us that they are happy, in pain, sad, excited, etc. 

My emotions usually reflect in my writing. The darker my mood, the more irreverence you will find; the more happy I am, the sweeter i become. So you can fairly guess how often I am in a good mood through my writing. Lol

Again they are those who express emotions as a means to cover up mistakes. Emotion is used as a psychological tool to make you forget their gaff. My dog, when he was still alive,  would eat into the fish my mom wanted to use for dinner then he would come to my room and hide under the bed. We would look for him all over and when we do find him, his face will be so sad that you would pity him. The next day, he will do the same thing again. 

Though,  I still prefer hearing people air their emotions.

Emotion means you have passion. Imagine if nothing got you going. It is difficult having your own business. I find dealing with bigger companies it is hard as you work on their time frames. That gets my emotions going and is hard to keep to ones self.
