Counter Strike: Global Offensive

# Summary
This game is an online first person shooter and is available on the Steam platform. This game recently became FREE so everyone can try it out. There are 5 gamemodes. Casual, Competitive, Deathmatch, War Games and Danger zone.

### Competitive
This is the core of this game, most players enjoy playing this mode. It's 5v5 attackers vs defenders, first to 16 rounds and 30 rounds in total, that means you can tie 15-15. Games can last up to 90 min, but in my experience they last on avergae 45 min. There is also 2v2 competitive, called wingman, with smaller maps and less rounds, first to 9 out of 16. After half of the rounds have been played players swap sides. There are total of 18 ranks in both modes and they are separated from eachother. There are 2 kinds of maps, *Bomb Scenario* and *Hostage Scenario*. In Bomb Scenario the Terrorists (T) try to take over a bomb site and plant a bomb, but the Counter-Terrorists (CT) try to defend that site. A round is won when enemy team is eliminated(Both), bomb defused (CT) or bomb exploded (T), also if a round runs out of time CT-s automatically win the round. In Hostage Scenario, T-s are supposed to defend hostages and CT-s are trying to rescue them. ### Casual
This is basically same as competitve, but there are no ranks and can be up to 10v10, and there is no side switching, and there are maximum of 15 rounds per map. This gamemode is if you just want to chill and play some games and not worry about your rank, but still want to want that competitive feel. It uses the same maps as the competitve.
### Deathmatch
This is just 10 min gamemode where everyone has max amount of money when they spawn, and everyone is trying to kill eachother. After dying you respawn and guy play with the same guns you had or buy new ones. It uses the same maps as the competitve. This is the best way to warm up for a new round of rank grinding.

### War games
This gamemode has 3 types of modes. Flying Scoutsman, Arms Race and Demolition. **Arms Race** is just a gungame, where everytime you kill someone you go up a rank and get a new weapon and after dying you respawn, the last rank has a golden knife and after killing someone with it you win. **Flying Scoutsman** is just a gamemode where everyone has an SSG 08 (Scout) and a knife, basically like Deathmatch but with those weapons, also there is lower gravity so you are literally a flying Scoutsman. **Demolition** is just Arms Race and competitive(Bomb scenario) combined, with 20 rounds and winner is first to 11 rounds.
### Danger Zone
Danger zone is a battle-royale type of mode, where you can drop in Solo, Duo or Trio and try to be the last man stading. There is max of 16 players per game in solos and 18 in Duos or Trios. This gamemode is really fun to play sometimes, but can get really frustrating really fast.

# Community
Everyone has heard that this game has a really toxic community and it is true to some extent, but the players you meet in this game can become your new friends. You might feel like you always see toxic people, but it's not really true and when you get that really cool guy, it'll make your day. Also this game has a huge Youtube community so you can go and get some information for some good laughs.
# Conclusion
If you haven't played this game or have but quitted because you thought it was a bad game, try it, you should at least try this game and see how it fits you.
