Hey Steemers! 

Like most of you I've had a lot of friends, family and random people(!) reaching out to me asking for a 101 on cryptocurrency with the latest spike in interest and awareness. I've also been receiving a lot of great questions about hot topics such as scaling issues, smart contracts, ICOs and more... So I figured I'd start a new video series where I break these concepts down into more digestible pieces and discuss them. 

Above is the first episode in the series, giving people new to the space a gentle introduction into how cryptocurrency works and it's (actually quite long) history. Hope you or someone you know may find this useful!! Please feel free to share your own questions in the comments and I'll run through them all in an upcoming Q&A video (some might even get their own dedicated video if they're super juicy!)
