뜻밖에 고맙다는 인사를 듣다.
현관문을 마주하고 살던 30년전  헤어진  이웃이 있다.

멀리 떨어져 있어 못본지 30년이다

그러나 전화상으론  가끔 연락을하고 지냈고 

주로 이웃이 전화를 주는 편이었다

그사이 우리들 나이는너무나 많이 먹었다.

이웃나이는 92이고 내 나이도 90이 멀지 않았다.

그런데 오늘 느닷없이  그동안 고마웠수

내 하소연 들어줘서  전화로  말 하는 것이였다 

올 여름엔  유난히  자주 전화를해  내 팔을 아프게 했다.

끝도 없이 늘어지는 이야기는  귀찮았지만

이노인네  하소연의 상대가  나밖에 없다니 

들어 주어야 겠다 싶어 언제라도  이야기하라 했더니

이제  고맙다는 말을  듣게 되었다 

나는 이나이가 되어도 그림도 그리고 스팀도 하며

바쁘게 지내니  외로움을 모르고 지내는데

코로나 때문에 경노당도 못가니  하루종일  혼자서

얼마나 외롭고  답답하겠는가  

노인네 사정은 노인만이 알수있는  일이다

저도 그 할머니타입인 것 같아요. 저는 쉴새없이 얘기하고 신랑은 들어주고..

그러니 신랑이라도 있어 참 다행이다 싶은 생각이 드니, 잘 해야겠네요. 그분처럼 고맙다는 표현도 좀 하고 말이지요.
