Like when you heist, you will be paid using future, every payout from the drugs is also future, and they added new feature to generate future coins and that is battles other players where you will get an incentive if you attack a player that has troops on it. Most players didn't like that update because somehow they calculated from when they earn from steem in the past days and now in the future is not equivalent. Also, you can convert future to steem but 1 steem is almost equivalent to 1.6k future coins. But when you bought future coins from the shop, it is expensive as you convert it way around. As for me, that is not a good option for converting that future to steem and i don't want to risks converting all my future coins from it. I may hodl it and when the time is come where they do not overprice the conversion from future to steem, that is the time i will convert most of the future coins.
