Hey steemers! Today I'm going to be talking about Blizzards highly popular hack 'n' slash video game, Diablo II. This was one of my go to games back in the day when I was inbetween video games. It was so easy to jump right back into and get a character to a high level. This game had a great story line, gameplay, pvp & team based boss fights.

I do have to say, if you try to play online nowadays it is absolutely littered with bots spamming item sales. Which can be very frustrating but I just chose to play single player and avoid the ruckus. It's pretty crazy this sixteen year old video game still has an online presence of ten thousand or so US players. No where near the two hundred thousand plus players that used to be online in the early 2000's. Diablo 3 is a great game but I personally don't think it compares to how amazing this one was when it came out.

These seven classes provide nearly endless fun mixing and matching talent trees to create specialty characters. An example would be sorceress can be fire, ice or lightning but you could also be half and half. My personal favorite was frozen orb & lightning bolt sorceress.

Secret Cow Level:
The secret cow level was an awesome part of Diablo II. By combining two special items you could create a portal to a hell bovine ridden farm. This place was especially nice for leveling up fast & finding gems. In a group of eight you could clear out a thousand cows in only a few minutes. Make sure you don't kill the king, if you do you will never be allowed back!

Gear:
This game is loaded with awesome gear. Some gear sets allow your character to go through transformations if you acquire the entire set. Other sets will allow your character to glow gold and be the center of attention. I really like the socketing part of the gear in this game. Some items will have sockets and when you add a gem they will increase something on the item. An example would be topazes will give your items extra magic finding ability.

I would personally give Diablo II five out of five stars. This game is awesome and if you've never played you can buy it online for only five bucks. Give it a shot!
