I think it is quite immoral and uncreative. But I would not mark it, first because my vote is almost nil, and second, because it is free to do so. Although for being so obvious I know that they ended up marking them. And I will not defend them either, they looked for it.

there are people like this in every where, even in most famous social media sites. And if you think as a world in whole we can find these kind of people. First I thought we should ignore them , but if they are keep annoying us we should take action against them.

This is very sad @whatsup ☹️ We can't even openly protest this by calling on their names as they have huge stack of steem power which they can gladly use to flag anyone going against them or revealing them. I too saw couple of people tried to reveal those whales and they got attacked by huge flag, plus, they set up auto-flagging bots, that prevent us to make any post. 

I hope someone will come up with solid solution to mend this huge issue.

this is a very importatnt thing to be discussed..but the sad thing is sir most of us can't openly act as we don't have  much power..our actions won't do alot to change this..but if we all can get together we can make a difference

It may seem pretty significant now, but can you imagine how much worse this is when we account for steem's future price which will realistically be a much higher steem price than what its currently at.

I have noted that post, but had no idea what was happened before! Most funnies thing is the person who self upvoted already flagged another whale for the same reason few weeks back!
(I am not going to talk much, coz I know how hard when flag hits my posts :D Not from you, you know what was my problem)

I've also flagged checkthisout a lot yesterday.

Some time back, roughly 1 month there was a heavy war in this community between whales on the backdrop of "reward pool rape" and now the war is over and it has been consolidated and people used to say, it's your stake and it is upto you, how you utilize it. But all these thing are true for dolphins and whales. Just imagine what can a minnow do under such circumstance.

Very very good observation and perfect action @whatsup and dont  you think this is one grey area steemit which needs to be given due attention to make more value to this community in terms of blogging.

I think with the rise in steem and sbd price the spam content or comment has gone up in the graph which needs to responded appropriately and this time some of whales are even engaged to cash out on this occasion.

This is really pure greed. It doesn't benefit anyone else and actively harms the steemit platform. Some of them are subtle in only upvoting their meaningless comments so they don't appear on the trending page. If this spreads then steemit will die

Obliviously they are draining the reward pool, but if we try to fight against such crimes, their single blow can vanish us...
