🔹 MY ART - acrylic painting - process
Hi Steemians, I love challenges and this definitely was one. The simplest thing for me when it comes to art is painting according to the pictures. It has always been difficult for me to paint from imagination. I usually combine a few pictures when I have to paint something more complicated, but first I need to come with an idea.

I really admire artworks by Karol Bak. If you like this piece, I am sure you will love his work. It has been  inspiration for me many times. 
This painting was made for my friend. It is in a size 100x70cm painted only with acrylic. It took 19 hours to finish. 


## The process

I started with a sketch. Then I painted a background. The first detailed work was with a face. I prefer painting with layers. First the darkest shade, then adding lighter layers, finishing with white to achieve shine. The same process was used for body, which is always more difficult for me than painting faces. 
I prepared a base for a dress and painted the leaves on the head. I also enjoyed creating a pattern for a stripe on the dress. I wanted it to look a bit folk, so I was searching for some inspiration among the folk ribbons. I ended with a blue "crown" and the white pouring.

This is AMAZING!! I like her Eyes. Great Job :)) The Only thing I can point out in this one is the trapezius muscles / The neck area. Nevertheless Its a Job well done. :D

I really do love that detail that has the feel of needlework. I love decorative motifs in artwork and am also obsessed with clothes in artwork, so I love to see fabric and pattern depicted.
