So more than a year ago I purchased an open-ended lifetime contract on Genesis Mining.

I spent more than 4 BTC on this contract.

I purchased more than 100 TH/s.  And for a time, it was good, and I regularly got payouts.

Suddenly sometime earlier this summer, my payouts stopped.

When I contacted customer support they told me that the maintenance fees were no longer being covered by the coin I was mining.

"That's fine.  The price will go back up, and then the fees will again be covered by the mining.  I'll just wait this out.  No big deal!"

It was around this time that I started seeing the "UPGRADE TO RADIANT" button on the site.  I've been hit hard like most crypto investors, so I haven't had the money to buy or pay for anything, so I pretty much ignored it.

But then I got an email saying they would be CANCELING MY LIFETIME CONTRACT if profitability didn't exceed mining fees within 60 days.  Unless I upgraded to Radiant.  Whatever the hell that is.

So I clicked upgrade to radiant.

And they wanted a credit card.  No option to pay with crypto.  And they wanted $18,000!!!!!!

EIGHTEEN  THOUSAND  DOLLARS.

Just to keep the service I had already paid for and been promised according the contract I signed more than a year ago.

UNBELIEVABLE.

This is extortion.  This is a criminal breech of contract.  I'm absolutely disgusted by Genesis Mining's behavior at this point.

Buyer beware.  They will switch terms on you, and then dump you, and then try to extort an additional $18,000 from you with no option for privacy or to pay with crypto.  DISGUSTING!
