Good content isn’t guaranteed to be seen. So I support voting bots, because they increase the visibility of content you’ve worked hard on. From there, it’s up to the community as to whether they value the content or not. I see it as kind of like buying insurance for all your hard work. 

And if you spend Steem to buy votes for shitposts over and over, you are probably wasting your money.

Good content and voting bots are not necessarily incompatible.
