__Three positive things I have heard about EOS in the last days:__

2. news that EOS-community is by far the most active on Github compared to other blockchains ([If GitHub activity is a measure of future value, EOS is flogging the rest of the pack.](https://steemit.com/blockchain/@drwom/if-github-activity-is-a-measure-of-future-value-eos-is-flogging-the-reset-of-the-pack))

That's what I have heard, no gurantee any of that is "the" or even "a" reason ;) However to a EOS-noob like me it seems there have been some positive news and no negative ones!

Wow... Well I guess its because thats the latest and fastest moving crypto on the blockchain... And they want many people to dive into it before its too late.

I guess it´s like always depending on a few reasons and not only one. One might be the eosDAC Airdrop which will occur on the 15th as far as I know. 

It even gained more since they pushed Litecoin from the 5th Rank on CMC.

There may be a few reasons
* Antpool (Bitmain) is the one doing the pumping
* EOS dac Airdrop 
* Dawn 3.0 release

* ### UpCoin Listing
UpCoin is a lovely wellknown cryptocurrency trade and on 10th April i.E. The previous day, they announced that they're going to record EOS. They tweeted, "comfortable to announce listing of $EOS & $TRX! Welcome to the #UPcoin_Exchange #UPcoin extra to return!"

As now we have noted time and time again, getting listed on a popular alternate does wonders for a crypto's value.

* ### EOS Airdrop aid

more than one excessive-value exchanges have elevated their support to the eosDAC airdrop. Exchanges like OKEx, Bithumb, and UpBit have announced that they're going to be helping the airdrop.

* ### March toward Mainnet

On April sixth EOS announced the release of their EOSIO dawn three.Zero. The mainnet variation is scheduled for liberate on June third 2018. Possibly this constant march toward mainnet is attracting more and more traders on their facet.

* ### EOS vs Ethereum

news got here out that the EOS is allegedly selling its Ethereum proceeds on the open market, depreciating the ETH rate. Plus, on prime of that, over the last 24 hours, some of the more preferred articles on EOS have been "Ethereum vs EOS" pieces. 

One of the most possible motives why these articles are immediately trendy is when you consider that of investor interest. As more and more competencies investors get into EOS, they'd wish to know how it compares to anything that they're all accustomed to i.E. Ethereum.

I'm not 100% sure if this news is reliable, but according to one online article the South Koreans seems to be  determined to pump the price of EOS. The article is six days old but I think it's still relevant to the bullish pump EOS is having. I Hope it helps.

Steem crashing, EOS pumping.

The upcoming EOSDAO airdrop I feel like is most responsible. Though the majority of volume is from South Korea.

I say timing is lining up nicely for EOS release. Its coming soon and the price will build up as we approach that. There are also airdrops coming in between now and then.

Today also marked the first day of the Hackathon they are hosting.

Its hard for me to pick the exact reason. It must be the accumulation of various good news. Dawn 3.0. The hackathon. Airdrops. The blockchain release approaching.

Personally I think the main reasons are:
* The **market is looking** for coins/projects that have relevant news. EOS has had the **Dawn 3.0 update** and people find it good enough of a reason to pump it.
* Anticipation of **mainnet launch** in June.
* **EOSDac airdrop snapshot** will take place on the 15th of April. Somehow these airdrops always disproportionally drive prices up temporarily.
* Other potential reasons but **probably not significant** are the Upcoin exchange listing, recent comparisons between EOS and Ethereum Github etc.

I expect quite a **big drop** after the 15th of April though, and definitely a big drop after mainnet launch. This project is valued disproportionally to similar others if you ask me. It is a good project, but not that good. It takes years to build a good ecosystem around a project for instance and I don't hear much about that.

Yes, it's because of the airdrop. Also they are very active on their twitter and each news can pump eos hard.

If the chart structure says it has to go one or another way, usually we get some news, that gives that momentum :)

After days of consolidation EOS/USD test above the 61% Fibonacci retracement level of $7.4, as well as the lower band of the daily Ichimoku cloud.  After the pull back we might see $11.40!

The reason behind this specific surge in EOS/USD is not clear as of yet.

They opened up a website few days ago where block producer candidates could announce themselves and one of the biggest bitcoin miners came as a candidate

I guess mainly due to the coming airdrop

Lets see...

* A great Lead Developer that is trusted and knows his stuff, with a history of successes.

* New information out not only on DAWN, but it's Interoperability.

* Release due in less than two months

* News of Airdrops is in the news (huge YouTube) exposure

* And many people missed the ETH train, they do not want to miss this one.

I believe it has everything to do with the EOSdac airdrop coming up on the 15th. I was planning on getting some EOS myself in waiting for the airdrop but somehow, i decided to wait for the 14th. Now I am wishing I had earlier.

There  are some reason behind this pumping. i think the most one is:
"It is Release due in less than two months."
most of trader look on the new items. thats it.
