It is all a lot of hard work this life thing isn't it? Lately it has felt that way at least. 

Perhaps it is just me.

I think that for many of us, regardless of our actual situation, feel that life is a struggle no matter what we do, how hard we try. I assume that for most at least, we are doing the best we can but still have difficulties to get ahead of life.

Maybe some of us feel we are drowning in a hundred different ways. Maybe it is illness that is bearing down, mounting debt and unpaid bills, a relationship under strain or worry about those we care about. Whatever the suffering, most may feel it I think. At least sometimes.

The way we deal with it varies too. Some broadcast every pain they experience, some bury it away, some get angry, stressed and frustrated, others become cold and desensitised. 

We can never really know what others experience and can never know how they experience it, we can likely just assume that they do. Try to understand that they are more like us, or we like them than we can know.

My process has been to continue on, do what I must regardless of my own discomfort, ignore what pain I am in so as to complete what I need. I have not always done this successfully. 

Often, my own pain leaks through and affects my actions, ruins my intentions to power on and changes my behaviour so that what started out on a good path, degrades significantly.

I have to remember to keep it simple, not to overextend as when I am worn thin I am little use to anyone, maybe even harmful. Self-destructive too.

Anyone else feel swamped by life, trying to keep head above water at times? 

Maybe it is only me.
