>(and I would totally do rainbow because rainbow) one of my colleagues has every room lit with a different colour at night.. that would drive my crazy :D I think there were studies done on how to get the most productivity out of workers (flourescents) in the 20 or 30s. Casinos do similar for getting the most money. I think in the home, it is nice to have softer and indirect lighting- it also saves on the need to clean as well.

My lights are binary. They're either on or off, none of this new-fangled dimming stuff XD And we always end up with bulbs like the sun because apparently no one else in the house can see.
