Mine don't want to go back into the coop to roost either! What time do you go out to shoo them in? We are probably in different time zones, but like, after dinner, before dinner, just before dusk, at dark? I want to start letting ours range again but not if they're just going to sleep wherever they want and the predators can get them!

Hi there! Usually by dusk they are more willing to return to the coop. Blue or Dot are the usual stragglers. They seem to know dangerous critters are around after dark. Thanks for coming by🐓

How'd it go. I should have mentioned that the girls go in by themselves if I wait till the sun is down. They do carry on as they jockey for positions in the coop. Brownie goes in early to get a nest box before anyone else. She is actually quite calculating.😉🐓
