One very significant thing which started happening in my twenties was gaining more self-respect and therefore raising my standards. I think with the age we realize what and who is important or isn't. I am 28 and I am so looking forward to my 30th birthday. Not because I am in a hurry to be older but because the knowledge I've gained over time by growing up is priceless. Great article. My favorites are confusion and temporary people. Very true.
