SO! I was never very good at napping, but lately, as I've been a parent, it's been easier for me. This morning I slept during his first nap, and even though I felt like I could sleep forever, I felt refreshed for the rest of the day! That was a surprise! Used to be an 8-9 hours a night sleeper... still am, but it's taken me a while to adjust to an earlier bedtime. The thing that I think is most noteworthy is that, while there are many people who say, "I only need 6 hours" proudly... I've noticed that many of these people are impatient, and dare I say... cranky? I think they just don't know what life would be like if they got more sleep.

Haha... that was my experience as a parent as well... I never really was a big napper... but since losing chunks of my night-time sleep, I've gotten pretty good at snatching sleep when I can! I also hear those stories of absurdly small amounts of sleep... I just don't know how it is possible! I find that I can't think straight and am easily confused!
